What should I bring to the conference?

  • A notebook or device for taking notes

  • Highlighters, sticky notes, and your favorite writing utensils

  • Optional but often helpful: glue sticks, scissors

What if I have to cancel? Can I get a refund?

If you are unable to attend, you may send someone else to take your place at no charge. You may contact us to switch the names on the registration. 

Are SCECHs or professional development hours available?

Yes!  SCECH applications (Michigan teachers) will be available (pending approval) the week of the conference.  If you teach outside of Michigan, you may contact us to get the documentation you need and we will do our best to help you.

Can I register using a purchase order?

Yes. You will be able to select your payment method during the online registration process.

How do I choose my schedule?

Prior to the conference, you will be emailed a master schedule and Zoom links for each session. Please provide an email address that you will check during the summer (not the email of a school administrator or secretary). Simply click the link for the session you have chosen when you are ready to attend the meeting. The Zoom meeting will open 10 minutes before the start of each session period to allow participants time to log in and get settled. 

When should I arrive?

Please log in to the Zoom meeting 5-10 minutes before the scheduled start time and wait for the presenter to welcome you in. You can leave your camera and microphone turned off until the meeting begins.

What happens if I change my mind after entering a virtual session?

If you decide that the session you are attending is not the best fit for you, you may "leave meeting" at any time, return to the master schedule, and enter another session by clicking the provided link. You may need to wait a few moments for the presenter to let you in.

Will I be able to interact with the presenter and/or other participants?

Yes! Zoom will allow all participants to type questions using the chat feature and also to unmute your microphone and speak directly to the presenter and participants.

What if my internet is acting up, or if I need to leave the session for some other reason?

If you are unable to attend a live session for ANY reason, that session will be available to you to watch at a later time if you purchase our All-Access Pass!
